Eagle's Nest Homestay

A wonderful stay in a colonial era wooden structured house. The house has a big pendulum clock , a cute Shih Tzu dog and a fat furry loving cat that will keep you amused. The host, a kind, well mannered decent lady , has a curio shop on mall road selling local artefacts hence didn't have to do much souvenir hunting. The breakfast and tea was good. Food wasn't an issue at all with mall road being a 10 mins walk away. A must stay for those who love to enjoy their privacy in the hills away from the chaos of holiday crowds.

The property can be difficult to trace because of the absence of signboards.

Washroom and the tariff. I wasnt expecting washroom not to be attached and water flow is bit low. This should have reduced tariff by 400 to 500 INR.

The room is beautiful, we enjoyed sleeping there and waking up with the most amazing view! The breakfast Omelette was tasty.

We did not feel welcome, the host lady was giving vibes as if she was a bit annoyed that we were there. She imposed a curfew on us so that we had to be home at 11pm. The bathroom was a bit disgusting and there was no water pressure at all so the only thing you can do is fill a bucket with water and pour it over your head.

Location was very good. Staff certainly hospitable and the rooms were spacious.

The entrance could be cleaner and neater.

The view, the cleanliness, the food, the hosts, the room area, and the two pets.

The flush wasn't working, the geyser wasn't working.
