The High Croft

Everything was perfect. The place is cosy, warm, in a magnificient place, very calm. Rachel's husband was super welcoming. Best rooms in Scotland so far for us. Top.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a lovely space to relax with our kids.

The location was fantastic. It was a very practical house, everything you need is present. The owners are very nice, they made you feel welcome and help you out wherever they can. The kids (and we) loved the animals.

The High Croft is a stunning home in a beautiful setting. Everything we could possibly have wanted was there, spotlessly clean and well laid out. Beds were comfy, linen was lovely and smelt fresh and the towels were fabulous. It was a perfect home from home and our hosts couldn't have been any more friendly and welcoming, sending detailed instructions and making our dogs welcome. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon.

We had a great time staying at The High Croft. Rachel was a very caring and attentive host, even beyond our stay.

The accommodation is in a lovely rural location away from main roads and is quiet and cosy. It has great views and is very relaxing. Lots of stuff nearby such as walks and swims. The hens are great.

Such a gorgeous setting, out of the way and capturing the real beauty and stillness of raw Scottish countryside. We saw herds of wild deer on our drive up to the property, eagles, highland cows and at the Highcroft, tiny baby chicks, bunnies, beautiful horse and rams. No farm smell, no flies, everything really clean, and smelling fresh! Tidy and great facilities, as soon as we entered wanted to take our shoes off as it was spotless. Views of the hills out of every window, and nice and warm in the house. Was a lot bigger inside than the pictures look too! We were really happy with everything! WiFi had one off issues but hosts were very kind and refunded us a part of the money due to the problems which were out of their control, which was totally unexpected and very kind. Hosts were lovely and friendly when communicating, very helpful with information about local area eateries too as one of our group had allergies. The Pier in Lairg I would recommend 100% was wonderful! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!
