South View Cottage with Terrace and Coastal Views

The relaxing trip and the easy walk to the beach.

The smell of musty damp when we walked into the property and the state of the pans when we went to use them were old and abit rusty and the neibhour next door woke up with the radio at 4am every morning.

Upstairs bedrooms were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped but oven had no instructions. Great views from elevated patio, if able to get up there. Was aware there were steps but not the amount there were.

Property not suitable, for the elderly, children or pets. Had a lot of steps, some of which were loose with no boundary on some of the garden walls. Had to barricade our dog to a tiny portion of the garden. Living room far too small for 6 people. Bed settee uncomfortable and based in the dining room which made it inconvenient to use the kitchen at night. Not enough pillows supplied. Property should be advertised for 4 people and not 6

Easy walk to shops in Fairbourne. Comfy and clean

No washing machine

Location was fantastic.. watching red kites fly overhead and the views of Barmouth Rock were stunning

If staying for more than a week a washing machine would have been really useful.

Comfortable accommodation for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, excellent location for exploring mid and north Wales.

Steps were definitely slippery in the wet which could have been tiresome if we had had a lot of wet weather, fortunately most days were dry.

The cottage was cozy, comfortable and in a lovely setting, outdoor decking area was great. Very private and quiet. Log burner is lovely.

There was a bit of a smell but don’t know how long it had been since anyone else was there. It needed a good clean, dirty skirting boards etc and it is probably overdue redecoration, which made it a bit expensive for only 3 nights.
