Host : friendly , helpful & hospitable I met & made friends who are backpackers from Spain, Dutch from this homestay. Homestay is not perfect as hotel but it is too enought for me - a backpacker. I can cook some food at kitchen with microwave, washing free ( Ricky have some cake free for you at his kitchen). I can read on the rooftop while washing. Location: near center & some nice pagoda Food: a lot of local food arround home. I can walk there Ferry agent to the Con Dao Island just 10 minutes from home. Or Ricky - Host can drive his car to the port Note: That nice homestay for staying !

We booked the queen room with garden view through Priceline. The location was great, close to many well known tourist attractions.

However, the room itself wasn't. There were no towels, hairdryer, slippers, or toilet paper in the toilet like stated on the booking website. We didn't find any mirrows or trash bins inside the room either which is something i have not seen before at any hotels or homestays that i have stayed at. The closet was smelly with somebody's dirty clothes on the bottom shelf. The shared toilet was ancient, outdated and in need of an upgrade badly.

the air in the room was not very fresh but it was compensated by the lovely people!

The hosts were lovely and welcoming, providing drinking water and snacks. The price you pay is well worth the clean and comfortable room.

Kind generous hosts, extremely helpful and friendly. Warm atmosphere lovely garden good food. I loved staying here. Ricky and Amy are the best hosts imaginable. Wifi A/C worked. There are lots of things to see and do in Soc Trang besides getting on a ferry. They will help you discover this wonderful delta town.
