Retro Khe Sanh

The food was so good! And the view of course. And when we arrived soaking wet after a day in the rain on the bike, they tumble dried our pants for free - the biggest gift! We slept great! I'd say this is perfect for at least one night in Khe Sanh - the location is beautiful but it's not really close to anything else (as far as we could gather), so look forward to chilling with a beautiful view.

This isn't reallly an issue but the 'room' is kinda small sith little place to put your bags if not on the floor. Happy they provided lots of hangers!

Nice view

The place needs a makeover. Yes the view is amazing, but everything else is not. The cabin we stayed in was raw and rotten, and it didn’t feel clean. All day and all night there is constant honking from the trucks driving up the hill.

Staff were really nice and they make delicious mango smoothies. The view is also great to see.

Unfortunately the place was very run down. There is potential for it to be a really nice hotel but the cleanliness and buildings need to be maintained much better. The room had no ventilation and it was damp inside. Because of this there was mould on the walls. It is also not sealed properly so bugs can get inside. It's a shame because I can imagine it was once (when it was new) a nice place to stay. The bed was also very uncomfortable. Hard mattress, felt like sleeping on the floor.

It was not a clean place: arrived in the room I found a cat sleeping in the bed (I love them by the way), and as well as a rat shit behind the pillow, I said it all. The girl offered to change, and at least this is fair. Furthermore, the same cat was sitting on the coffee machine (cup heather to be clear) the morning after…guys I m a wild traveler but certain minimal rules of hospitality need to be there.

The views. Comfy bed. Hot water. Good shower. Air con. Fan.

Stayed in room two. Seemed run down, needs renovation. Dirty walls in room, needs a good clean and some new paint. Bathroom door completely off hinges, need fixing. Curtains ripped, reduced privacy. Food on plates left out on ground outside reception the entire stay. Some decking needed replacing, holes in places. Ordered veg pizza, not very appetising. Shame as I'm sure it was a lovely place when new. Sadly I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
