Welcomed and made feel comfortable by.the.host,. everything we needed was provided

We arrived from the Belfast ferry and were making an overnight stay before driving west. Bobbie’s Bothy is a spacious cottage modernised not just with care but, you feel, with love. Everything works just as it should do, everything is in place just as it should be and each bedroom has its own warm colour scheme. We would have needed a week to do justice to the most generous welcome pack I have ever encountered! Our hosts called round briefly to check that everything was OK. The answer was a very definite affirmative since we have rarely found such a warm welcome anywhere we have stayed. Highly recommended.

I would defy anyone to find something not to like about this place!

Lovely large cottage in a convenient location to visit areas around Antrim in particular but easy to get to the main roads everywhere. Bigger than you think and very clean and comfortable, well decorated and presented and heating gets nice and warm really quickly. Has everything you need to stay including a dishwasher, wifi, space to park the car around the back and can sit out in the courtyard at the back on nice days too. Bathroom is downstairs and one of the double bedrooms is downstairs, the other three bedrooms (a very large double and a smaller double and a large single) are upstairs. Owners very welcoming, will definitely return.

Nothing really. The only downside was the shower was over the bath, unfortunately my elderly relative wasn't able to use it.

I booked The Bothy on behalf of my brother when his previous accommodation let him down with just hours notice. Even though it was a very short notice booking, The Bothy was quick to respond to messages and make checking in straightforward. From the outside The Bothy is a beautiful, traditional country home that wouldn’t look out of place in a folk museum. From the inside it’s a comfortable, modern home with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Roy and Karen are great hosts, with a warm welcome and offers of help if you need it during your stay. The Bothy is well supplied with enough goodies to sort you out for breakfast, tea and coffee; which was fantastic as my brother was travelling back to Northern Ireland and didn’t have much time for shopping on the way. Oh, and my brother said their beds are the most comfortable beds he’s slept in in any holiday place. I’d happily book them again, and have been telling everyone how great they were.

Lovely property, hosted by lovely people

Fantastic space, really tidy, homely, very quiet location. Great to just get away for a relaxing stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Would happily stay again.
