Old Eden House

Self contained private studio with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Very responsive host. No issues. Beautiful countryside location. The road to the property is quite narrow but manageable for a good driver. The views are fabulous. Walking distance to Rossbeg beach. Large white sand beaches of Narin and Portnoo are 7 minutes drive. The location is perfect, beauty all around. We cannot wait to be back. Entirely enjoyed our stay at the property.

Remote location m. Peace and quiet.

As others have said, the view is stunning and it's a great spot for a remote getaway. The room itself was immaculate, and the owner was friendly and happy to provide local recommendations. I spent a few days there but needed to work, and the WiFi was perfectly sufficient for everything I needed to do, including a few video calls. For those not comfortable with single-lane Donegal roads, approaching the property via Glenties to Portnoo will be less intimidating than going to Rossbeg via Ardara. But either way Google Maps genuinely does lead you right to the door. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

Closeness to Rossbeg and beautiful beaches

Couldn’t get used to the memory foam mattress, was difficult getting out of bed, but it didn’t spoil our overall stay. Could do with a light by the door/pathway as it was pitch black and had to be very careful approaching the door.

Kitchenette could do with a sink
