Old Eden House

it’s in the middle of nowhere so if you want to get away and do nothing this is the perfect place. it’s got great views. there is a small kitchen which I wasn’t expecting with a microwave toaster coffee machine kettle and fridge. there was also tea coffee and sugar. there was a big tv with Netflix and Amazon prime a great heater and great wifi.

the driveway is scary. one side has the sharpest bend and the other side is so steep. it’s nowhere, there is only a small, well stocked to be fair, shop nearby. maybe in peak season there would be more things open but there was nothing when we went in October. the room was clean at initial glance but then I noticed there were cobwebs everywhere and dust and small things like that. I think it was probably cleaned after the last person some time ago but not before we arrived. the shower was tiny.

The room is self catering but needs a bit of TLC. Make sure to have your groceries bought because the closest shop is in portnoo. There's no restaurant close. If your looking for peace and quiet and a remote location it's a good spot.

it was more like a little apartment than a room, with a large bed, sofa and coffee table; lot of facilities, microvawe oven, dishes, refrigerator and toaster, and internet tv. Beautiful, scenic and quiet location.

Difficult to find it. No signs or road signs. I had problems with the motorcycle on the damaged asphalt, with the risk of falling and a muscle tear in the arm to hold the vehicle. No direct contact with the staff.

Great views, nice big TV, separate room with all you need in it.
