Tranquil Thaxted Apartment with 2 Bedrooms

Very easy to access and Clean and Mick was a good bloke making sure we had everything !!

Good location , good parking, clean

No curtains in bedrooms ? , mattress was awful , I had marks from the springs in the morning. Took ages to work out shower as you have to turn it on by a switch on the stairwell and it won’t stop till you turn it off on switch after . Some basic supplies tea, milk, coffee - maybe more coffee sachets would be nice and some mugs .

Goed: de locatie. Wij houden van vliegtuigen en die vliegen daar steeds over, omdat het vliegveld in de buurt ligt.

Slecht: heel veel: De locatie klopt niet op Google Maps. Het was niet schoon, overal zaten langpootspinnen. De host kwam alleen vertellen dat haar honden buiten speelden. Ze kwam niet eens even gedag zeggen, Er is een keuken, met maar 2 pannen, waar van een met een te grote deksel. Er is geen keukengerei, (spatels en messen en dergelijke) een de waterkoker zat vol kalk. Er was een doekje voor de afwas, maar geen zeep. De koelkast stond op een diepvriesstand. De deur voor de douche is verkeerd om gemonteerd, waardoor je in een moeilijke hoek de douche in moet. Er is een fonteintje voor een toilet als wastafel. Er is geen stopcontact voor een scheerapparaat, tandenborstel off föhn. Het toilet zit op de eerste verdieping. De te smalle trap heeft geen leuning en een te laag plafond, waardoor je je hoofd stoot. Er was ruimte zat, maar geen eettafel. Buiten stond een tafel met twee groen uitgeslagen stoelen. De bedden zijn te klein 140 bij 190 met een dun matras waar de veren uit steken. Er zijn geen gordijnen waardoor je om 5 uur 's ochtends wakker wordt van het licht. Je kunt zien dat alles net is verbouwd, in allerlei kastjes ligt nog schakelmateriaal en ander spul.

The location was perfect for us .

The property itself from outside looked idyllic. We arrive late at Night, the check-in was very smooth and easy. We had a family wedding at nearby. QUENDON HALL, So this place was close and ideal. first of all when we went upstairs, there were no curtains no blinds on the windows which we say is understandable as it all countryside. The beds were very old-fashioned.(spring mattress.) which my daughter found very uncomfortable it seems that there was work still going on cause we could see Workmans footprints on the carpet upstairs in the hallway. The place can do with mirrors as there were none so you can imagine getting ready for a wedding was very tricky. The bathroom had no mirrors at all again my husband found it difficult to shave. There were no beans in any of the rooms upstairs only one bin in the kitchen area. The furniture in our room was bit outdated and the chest of drawers in the main bedroom was broken. Overall, the place is in a beautiful location peaceful tranquil there were a lovely two well behaved labradors which from the main garden. If the place had all the little things that were missing, it would be ideal.
