Comfortable good size rooms, very clean. Very helpful staff.

There were no pre-instructions on how to check in When I arrived, I felt very awkward (as a Muslim) that I had to go into a bar to check in. I was quickly spotted by one of the staff who took me up to the room. When I was going into the room, it felt a bit odd as the keys were in the door and the door was unlocked. Later on, I realised that the lock on the door was not working and I had to barricade myself in the room at night as I felt unsafe. At night, I had to drive approx 15 mins to the city centre each way. During this time my personal items were at risk and luckily when I came back nobody had been in my room I was told to leave keys in the door when leaving and of a back door to exit but had to work that out myself at 7am when I was checking out. Also, as keys were left in the door, anyone could have trashed the room and I would be liable.

Absolutely everything. The owner is very kind, caring and helpful. Thanks to the chef too, the meal was amazing, and english breakfast excellent. Rooms are confortable. One regret : stay here only one night. Thanks for everything !

Friendly and helpful. Great food. They’ve only recently taken over the place, and have some snagging to do, but they’ve made an excellent start.

Not the quietest of locations, but ear plugs do the trick if you’re sensitive to noise.
