Sunrise Negombo by Celestial Ceylon

The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are as advertised, decently clean, working air con and/or fan, your own shower and wc, both of which work, and are in a typical domestic Sri Lankan wet room. The rooms are a good size, and there are a couple of large shared seating areas for guests. You really can see the sea, the sand starts about 50m from the property and it's hidden from Lewis Place (main drag along the beach front) by another property, so it's reasonably quiet, but not too far to the local restaurants. If you want hedonistic luxury, go to one of the nearby hotels. If you want somewhere that offers great value to sleep safe and sound, come here.

Some very minor things only. There's a shortage of power points (but multi-socket adapters are available on loan). It could really do with some reading lamps, otherwise, it's full (but nice and bright) light or pitchy blackness in your room. Be aware: Our hot and cold taps on the shower were labelled the wrong way round. This is, of course, fine, once you know - which is my only real reason for mentioning it.

Location wise its easy to access

No Proper WIFI, Service was not much fast and Not Satisfied.

Really nice place next to the beach with really lovely and careful owners! They treat us amazing, so greatful for the stay and hospitality. Oh! And they have a pool.
