A nossa experiência foi bastante negativa. As áreas comuns estavam visivelmente abandonadas, sujas e com água estagnada. A tenda onde ficámos estava num estado lastimável — muito suja por dentro, com aranhas vivas, abelhas mortas e teias nos cantos. A zona envolvente à tenda não era tratada: cheia de plantas com espinhos, o que causou cortes nas pernas da minha esposa cada vez que precisava caminhar. Os sanitários estavam sujos, com fezes de pássaros, e o chamado “banheiro ecológico” foi uma surpresa desagradável — o depósito de dejetos humanos estava infestado de ratos. Esperávamos uma experiência rústica, mas o mínimo de higiene e manutenção é indispensável. Infelizmente, não recomendamos.

The accommodation was beautiful!! in the middle of this unique land it was a very magical experience. Going to sleep with this unbelievable night sky, waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by this unbelievable scenery was very special. I can recommend the stay for everyone that wants to ground themselves and reconnect with nature. Near by you have the most beautiful beaches, a river and the cute town São Luís. I felt very safe, the people at the farm were very friendly, I loved staying here. I wish I would’ve have stayed a bit longer but I will definitely return. I can say for sure, all of this exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend it.

You could see that someone did put effort and thoughts into this place, but that seemed like a looong time ago.. I liked the quietness and the sounds of nature while sleeping.

When I arrived at the place it was dark and I couldn’t see much, but the first impression was quite good. However, when i got up in the morning, i stepped out of the tent and the first thing you see is lots of garbage. Maybe it was material that will get used at some point for construction or whatever, but it seemed like it hasn’t been touched for a very long time. Going up to the outdoor kitchen and other amenities it didn’t get better. Stuff was laying around everywhere! And to be honest- i think i am quite tolerable as i am not super tidy myself- but this was certainly a shock. The compost toilet was the smelliest i ever experienced. The showers almost had no water. The tent was mouldy. Also- i can’t take signs seriously saying i should mind my water use and thus protect the environment when the owners are treating their land like this!! I am really disappointed. I posted some pictures but they don’t show the full extend of what i am talking about.

the bed was really comfortable , the staff were really really nice

it was very far away from everything, 30 min drive at least , the tent was really far from the common areas , there was no light to get to the tent at night , in the tent there was no electricity, the bathrooms were ecological and there was a “compost toilet” but for a lot of people it’s not practical , it smelled really bad all the time and didn’t seem clean to use , most of the time we just went to the nearest coffee shop

I loved the animals hanging around the farm. I loved the viarity of plants and different buildings. I loved the viarity of people coming and going here. I can recommend this for everyone who is open for adventures. :)
