Manager - checking in on 29 May and breakfast on 31 May was brilliant. Perfect location, rooms were lovely, food nice, breakfast exceptional. Good parking.

"Ideal location for cave gig in Castleton"

Location for the concert in the cave second to none. Plus the staff were friendly and excellent with a greasy meal when we arrived and bfast next day. Patrick was great on check in and bfast.

Combination of the warm weather, sealed window and heat output of the fridge in the room made sleeping like being in a sauna. Ok for wifey but killed me. Am opening window may have been the difference.

"Charming accomodation"

The location and surroundings are splendid. The room was charming and clean as well as surprisingly quiet considering the amount of traffic in the pub downstairs. Fantastic views towards Mam Tor. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive. Trails to the Peak district start pretty much straight from the door. There is ample free parking behind the house.

We were a bit disapointed about the restaurant menu, which was a reduced version of the online menu or even the menu featured in the room itself. That was originally one of the reasons why we chose the Bulls Head in the first place.

Beautiful location and stunning building that retains its character and charm with the bonus of a modern bathroom and NETFLIX, also quiet floors for such an old building.
