Shepshed 2 Bedroom Apartment

Very clean and cosy. Very comfortable stay. Everything we needed was there. It was lovely to have milk in the fridge on arrival. Tea and coffee supplied. There were snacks, including porridge pots, for breakfast. Toiletries in the bathroom. It was a quiet residential area. Handy to have a shop and takeaways close by.

A lovely warm, cosy and spacious flat with all the facilities and home comforted it described online. Great service from the host too!

Overall the apartment was spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and the complimentary breakfast bits were a very nice touch. Moreover, the hosts were quick to respond to any problems/queries we had.

When we arrived (in the evening) we had no hot water for showers, which was disappointing. We wondered if we had to turn the boiler on, but as there were no instructions or welcome leaflet we had to resort to contacting the hosts. I understand that the boiler may be small and running on a cycle, but I would suggest that if possible the host should turn it on once the previous guests have left so that the next guests can have at least a quick hot shower when they arrive. I also think that potentially the flat could benefit from having a short welcome leaflet left out on the coffee table, which could help explain that due to the boilers size and heating cycle, if guests take too long a shower they may use up all the hot water.

The flat was super clean and welcoming, tastefully decorated and simple in providing ample cosy comfort to relax and reset from. I liked it so much that I stayed an extra night to unwind from my months on the road for work.

A welcome pack would help with a few questions I had - namely, a manual with the oven settings listed would really help. Also, the boiler may need new limits setting for it's on hot water storage / on demand availability. Other than that these minor points didn't;t detract from my stay and I would book again!

Clean and comfortable

Lovely, spacious, clean flat. Tea, coffee, milk provided and some pastries and porridge in pots which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this 👌

Nothing to dislike. Had an issue with hot water in the eve. The host replied promptly and issue sorted.

Slightly awkward to find in the dark. Accidentally tried to get into number 16 instead as the parking space is outside that.

The flat was accurately described and quite roomy. Immaculately clean. With lots of kitchen utensils, and various tv channels/netflix. Also some snacks and packet milk in the fridge. Thank you

We decided to arrive later when it was dark, and the lighting outside was not very bright so we had to get out of the car and look BUT after that, it was easy to just drive to the very end of the close, and the actual property was easy to access. Sadly, at 0625 ish, twice there was a lot of banging in the double bedroom. I presume this was due to someone else where having a shower and the water pipes reverberating for a maybe 3 minutes. Otherwise a quiet location.
