Stayed at Dooley's Hotel as a solo traveller and found the room to be clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Unfortunately, my breakfast experience was disappointing. Although I was seated promptly, I felt overlooked by the waiting staff, as several guests who arrived after me were attended to first and received basics such as milk and breakfast service before I did. I appreciate that mornings can be busy, but I felt somewhat forgotten. Aside from this, the stay was pleasant and the hotel has much to recommend it.

We really loved the room. It was at the end of the hall and felt extra private, which made our honeymoon feel even more special. The bathtub was a bonus with really hot water. The bed and pillows were really comfortable! The location was convenient for walking around Waterford and parking was convenient across the street. The train station was nearby, which we needed on our departure. The hotel staff put a wedding card in our room! Nice personal touch. Thank you!

There was glass dumping/recycling going on in the courtyard below our room (for a solid 5-10 minutes) both evenings we were there. Seems like an activity that would be best to do in the early afternoon?
