Room was nice and location

The utensils are a bit flimsy (knives) kettle has calc ,pans are rusted. Would be good to get more info on how the breakfast works. It's a lovely place and nice people just maybe storing the cooking stuff in a container would help...

Ou Kraal is located on a peaceful, well-stocked private game farm that is very well located for access to Pilanesberg. (It took us 15 mins from our tents to the Bakubung gate, including a short drive through Anton's farm.) Anton, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable. The tents are well-equipped with all the necessities for a self-catering stay, and the beds are very comfy. The tents are private and peaceful, most with a watering hole view where you can watch diverse birds and game at your leisure. We were there for two nights in a large family tent and a smaller 2-sleeper and we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property more. Already looking forward to our next stay. If you are looking for a great and affordable spot to enjoy the bush at its most real, while still having the luxury of a warm shower and comfy bed, this is it. Ou Kraal will be our go-to for future Pilanesberg visits, and we have been recommending to anyone who will listen.

Our only recommendation would be to pack earplugs in case the industrial plant in the surrounding area decides to run operations in the evening. Note that this is more like white noise, but light sleepers may struggle. This is completely out of the owner's control and there is no schedule, so it may not affect your stay, but best to be prepared. This did not impact the quality of our stay, and we would book without hesitation again.
