When I arrived there was a horrific smell. It was so intense and strong in the bedroom, I had to stand in the hallway to call the host. They said that they would attempt to find me a new room. Whilst waiting, I looked along the rest of the ground floor. There were dirty clothes and rubbish all around the kitchen and it looked like somewhere students or drug addicts might hang out. The back door was wide open and there were broken chairs and an upturned shopping trolley in the garden

Whilst waiting, I looked along the rest of the ground floor. There were dirty clothes and rubbish all around the kitchen and it looked like somewhere students or drug addicts might hang out. The back door was wide open and there were broken chairs and an upturned shopping trolley in the garden. The most could not find a different room (thankfully) so they agreed to refund me saying they could see me leave via the doorbell camera. They have not refunded me. They ate nor responding to messages from Booking.com either. My husband is in ICU and I just needed somewhere close to sleep. They reply to my messages blaming Booking.com for the lack of refund. Do not trust this property.

The room, bathroom and kitchen were all dirty. The blind was broken offering no privacy as the room is ground floor on the street unless the curtains were closed making the room dark . The room absolutely stank of marijuana which was disgusting and gave us headaches. They were obviously aware of this as all the windows had been left open and the room was freezing when we arrived and the radiator didn't work. Do not stay here.
