Townhouse in trendy suburb of Hoole

Location a very quiet terraced street. Didn’t hear a peep from neighbours on either side, must have very thick walls. Modern contemporary decor, but with homely touches. Lots of lamps and house plants. Well equipped kitchen including a freezer and dishwasher, both great for longer stays. Nice little back yard with plants. Wardrobe and drawers with plenty of space if you unpack on longer stays. Lovely bathroom. Friendly approachable host. Despite being in a quiet terraced street it was only a 5 min walk from lively bars and eateries. We only stayed 2 nights and were out all day but found 2 super places to eat in the evenings.

This is maybe just me but the top of the stairs is quite precarious, a very small landing with a high step into bathroom straight ahead and another step left to the bedrooms. Care needed.

The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into furnishing and decorating the property. We had an issue with the plumbing but Chris contacted the plumber and it was resolved on the same day.

Beds very comfortable. Relaxing and comfortable living and eating areas. Very clean throughout. Near to good eating places.

Noisy water system. Could have done with more basic crockery etc.

This is a beautiful property in a fabulous location. 2 mins walk to restaurants, bars and shops in Hoole. Chester is only approx 15 / 20 mins walk. The house was clean and really nicely decorated. Loved the bathroom and wooden floors throughout. Chris was a great host, check in simple and swift. Chris sent messages to help us enjoy our stay (re: local area). Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again in the future.

Tolles Haus, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Man braucht nicht lange um in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Ein Einkaufsladen ist gleich um die Ecke. Für uns die ideale Unterkunft, die wir immer wieder buchen würden. Selbst Kaffee und Kekse waren zur Begrüßung vorhanden.

The area. Proximity to station. Good shower. Good kitchen. Comfortable sofas etc.

The hosts were very informative and kind, the house itself was immaculate and in a great place!

The house was very well kept. Mostly clean and everything you need was available. Kitchen was nice and everything in it working well. Beautiful backyard with some seating. Well lit and airy. Not a lot to complain about. Toilet was very well looked after as well and all kinds of amenities available.

The window in the main bedroom did not have proper blinds so you will wake up early by default due to the light in the room 😅 few spots were never touched like the corners with the cupboards full of spider webs

Lovely accommodation. Thought of everything including charging leads, fans, toiletries. Excellent location, everything within walking distance, 10 mins from train station, 5 mins from Hoole shops, 15 mins from Chester.
