Perfect for what we needed as a base. Certainly cosy. Helpful hallway to store items. Cute place.

Garden needed some tlc as overgrown. Didn't impact us though.

Floor was creeky and no door between living room and stairs or kitchen so worried about noise with the baby upstairs

"Exceptional"

Lovely stay. Everything you need is here and there is a co-op 500 yards away. Beds are comfy, very cosy. Ok parking on the lane 30 yards from the house (down a ginnel, take a torch). Pleasant pubs and eateries, especially Forest Lodge at the top of the high street and The Dukeries round the corner Locals are so friendly and love the Robin Hood connection - got married in the church there.

Cost and very comfortable. Close to everything in the village.

Parking is not ideal as the lane can be fairly busy. This is only a minor issue though.

"Cosy cottage - perfect for Sherwood Forest"

Very cosy. Perfect to walk into the village and the park visitor centre. There is everything you could imagine it you need in the cupboards. Easy walk to a couple of pubs for food and takeaways

There has clearly been a lot of time and money invested in this property to make it a comfortable and cozy holiday home. The host has thought of their guests' needs and has obviously taken steps to accommodate most eventualities. The property was clean, well designed and well equipped.

Unfortunately the lane appears to be something of a cut-through which is used as a race track, despite it being so narrow with no pavement. If I had young children it would have been a big concern. Inside the property there were a few things that niggled but nothing major.

"Lovely and cosy house- home from home ❤️"

Lovely little house, lots of amenities, great location and out of the way of main road so reasonably quiet. Owner was always available to answer questions and it suited our purposes, felt like a home from home.

Floors creaked a lot which mother in law noticed immediately but to be expected in this type of house. Would have liked terrestrial channels for her too but we introduced her to satellite channels quickly 😂 overall lovely place and would definitely recommend and stay again.
