Villa Morea-Relax in piscina

Serene beautiful place in the Italian countryside. Hostess Rosanna surounded us with hospitality and care. Villa has everyting needed for relaxing - great pool, good location, all tools for cooking. Highly recommended place!

Well, if you have watched those movies about villas in Italy and dreamed of staying in one, then this is the real deal. Everything was super great, rooms, garden, host. If you have car you can easy get around the area, go to Alberobello or get to sea (around 30 min drive) and other places, or you can easily stay at this apartment for days and relax. In this villa you can enjoy silence and feel like Italian. If you are short on something, there are grocery shops 5 min away.

EVERYTHING! And even though there is no air conditioning - the house is cool enough and there is a lot of air flow at night and fly screens! A breath of fresh air ✨️

Fantastic scenery and pool, would have loved to have a car but the host was most amazing to drive us round when we needed! Rossa is a wonderful warm woman who is helpful (sometimes to her own distress). She is so attentive in a brilliant way, and her and her partner living beneath us was fantastic as young people traveling but I understand that some people prefer a more private experience. Putignano is 25 minute walk away and from there you can pick up lots of delicious local produce and traditional Italian delicacies. The train station doesn’t show up on Apple Maps but if you look on google search you can find it just beyond the walk to Lidl. Do remember bug spray (not to be condescending) even though the house is fitted with insect defense mechanisms in the doors, god bless Rossa. The pool is the best thing in the world, ver batim so do with that what you will. Head protective sun lounges were an innovation which I had not expected but completely revolutionized my bathing experience. Rossa kept the pool very hygienic, cleaning and refilling regularly. Fantastic for hide and seek, but make sure not to get smashed by the ants. Wonderful star-gazing at night time and really beautiful outdoor dining area for all day chilling purposes top notch gazebo.

I felt very hot a couple times however the lovely Rossa said that air conditioning was being installed. Would recommend having a car but lidl is defo close enough for a nice pensive getaway from group tensions. If you are looking for a deli counter in store such as you would find in à carrefour or any other Western European supermarket, you may be disappointed. As purveyors of fine foods (especially those of Italian origine) you will not find the rustic vibe here, but more than enough to make sandwiches, drink lots and make nduja pasta god willing😉. Talk about first world problems, it’s clear the minimal annoyances from this trip don’t take away from the great time we all had, enjoy the fruits that villa morea has to offer
