Waterfront Cottage G7

Care was taken to ensure that we were welcome, from the welcome chocolates to the quick responses from the host when I had questions. Excellent!

Easy check in. Nicely furnished and equipped. Very clean. Close to the beach and the mall.

Very hot inside, so we wanted to open windows for ventilation, but at the ground level it is unsafe so have windows open (as anyone can access bottom windows from the street) and because there are only blinds (instead of curtains) you have to open the blinds completely in order to open the windows in the rooms, which meant that the rooms were completely exposed to the street and surrounding properties with no privacy whatsoever. So we had to choose between fresh air and privacy. Also, alarms sirens from neighboring properties were very loud the entire time we were there, which meant we couldn’t rest. The bed in the main bedroom is very hard, which is perhaps a matter or preference, but we didn’t like it.

We've spent 2 nights at this apartment. The communication with the owner was smooth and quick, they always answered our questions. It is an absolutely lovely apartment, clean, comfortable, with lots of light, well equipped, 2 minutes from the ocean. A really great place to stay.

The stairs are a bit slippery if you are wearing socks, a few times we slipped. We haven't really find anything to put under the coffee machine to make coffee. We've only found bigger mugs, but maybe we didn't look carefully enough.
