"I Love This Place"

The view of Lake Independence was gorgeous, and it was a quick drive to Lake Superior. The cabin was perfect and easy to get to (the driveway must have been widened since some of the previous reviews). It is a bit of a steep walk down to the water, but the stairs and railings were very helpful and in good shape, making it pretty easy. This would be a great home base to explore all of the UP because of the location. There was a huge full moon one night, and we watched the thunderstorms roll in over the lake, which was beautiful through the huge windows. Wifi worked great and we had phone reception (4G Verizon), which was nice. You are also close to town if you need anything.

I don't really have any complaints.
