The Whitstable, Tankerton Bolt Hole - Double Room & Ensuite

The place is tastefully decorated, with a modern style and everything seemed new and was very clean. It seems like the hosts have thought about small details to help guests feel more comfortable: the little corner to make tea or coffee, the lights under the shelf above the bed for bedtime reading or simply for a cozier ambience, the matching colours of the bed sheets, towels and small items It also felt nice and warm inside.

The only thing I would improve is the pillows. They were probably perfectly fine for most people, but I would have liked a thicker one. However, this is a minor detail.. Overall, I was very happy with the place.

Pam and Steve are great hosts and communicated fantastically with us. The property is very clean, new and functional and we had all we needed for a short stay

It was nice and close to the beach.

I could have done with some directions to local shops or restaurants. I found a fab fish and chip shop, but I had to ask directions.

I loved the look of 'Bolt Hole' as soon as I saw the pictures, and it did not disappoint! Clean, cozy, comfortable with beautiful furniture to fit this private space. Nautical blues and white washed floors really did make it a perfect seaside getaway for two Londoners. The bathroom was so fresh and a decent size considering the size of the space. The skylight allowed in plenty of light. The hosts were so kind in all communications and ensured we had everything we needed ahead of time. Had the most delicious night sleep after a long day of traveling and walking around. 5 mins and you can see the ocean. Bliss ❤️ You will not want for anything here!
