Charming stone Bothy at Loch Lomond

A fantastic place. We didn’t want to leave and will hopefully be back. Great communication and really nicely decorated. We really loved our stay.

It's a lovely bothy very comfortable with a nice sized bathroom and kitchen. Stocked with various utensils that you would need and other nice things like soap and cream. The bed was comfortable and nice to look out into green space ahead. It's a 5 minute drive from Loch Lomond which is handy and close to a lovely Farm Shop and Helensburgh which is a nice town to explore.

Unfortunately we were unaware of building work on the other side of the road where the bothy was. This was a real shame not to know this as we struggled to sit outside the bothy in the day because of the noise. You could also hear it inside the bothy so just had to play music. The bothy would be a nice stay if the building work was not happening and was disappointed to not know about this beforehand. If you were going to just hang out at the bothy and read a book outside that might be tricky. But sounds like the building is close to completion so once it's done it will be fine.

Cosy, great location and peaceful.

The bothy is just perfect. If it is a cosy stay in a unique and quirky setting you are after, it ticks all the boxes. I've never stayed in such a thoughtfully equipped accommodation. The setting is perfect for exploring the Loch Lomond area without being in the thick of the touristy bits. The open landscape in front of the property allows you to feel private, whilst being close enough to the main routes in the area. We were even gifted with the company of deer.

I wouldn't change a thing.

Everything! The bothy was charming, cosy, warm and so clean. The decorative touches and care that has gone into this place is phenomenal and we loved it. We also loved the location for exploring nearby Luss and other villages. A perfect stay! Thank you again!!
