Very good location. Well situated. Good facilities. Kitchen well equipped. Bedding was luxurious. Sitting room comfortably and thoughtfully furnished. Plenty hot water. Internet good. Red squirrels seen.

A number of minor maintenance point which we listed and left in the lodge. Most irksome was the lavatory seat not fitting well.

"Great place to stay close to Elterwater and the lovely local tarn just a walk away"

It was part of a 70ish lodge site situated on a hillside so you were not overlooked and felt very private. Surprised by the extra facilities on site of the swimming pool and sauna

Outside of the lodge could have done with a brush off.
