Itty Bitty Inn

Great little inn that made for a wonderful stop on our road trip. Innkeeper was wonderful and our room was a blast. And my cider was delicious.

Quirky but fun experience. Easy to find and good food near by

Being on a busy highway was a bit noisy but i quieted down later in the evening. Not a problem, eventually. Still slept well.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Star Trek room at the Itty Bitty Inn for two nights in May, 2025. I rolled in on a Wednesday afternoon with a solid case of travel-related brain fog and as soon as I unfolded myself from the driver’s seat I encountered the charismatic and ridiculously charming innkeeper, Rik. Rik was full throttle energy, equal parts witty and welcoming, giving strong Elliot Garfield vibes. He launched into a discussion about Star Trek and before I could fully steady my bearings he flashed the Vulcan salute and announced “Let’s go!” Being slow on the draw in that particular moment, I awkwardly threw down a hand gesture that looked more like a peace sign. Oopsie. But Rik pretended not to notice and off we went to see my room. The Star Trek room was a legitimate mid-century lollapalooza complete with sound effects from the bridge of the Enterprise, a myriad of colorful blinking lights, old Star Trek episodes for late night viewing, a Cyrano Jones tribble and other memorabilia including a communicator, a 3D chess board and a phaser (on stun, of course) in case you encounter a Klingon in the parking lot. There were MANY more fascinating details which you should check out for yourself! My room was cozy and very clean, with fresh towels delivered daily and plenty of hot water. I have no complaints! Rik was a font of local knowledge, with excellent suggestions on what to do and where to grab a bite around North Bend. I went hiking at Golden and Silver State Park, which was muy tranquilo. If you are looking for off-beat lodging that defies the cookie cutter standard or if you are a connoisseur of mid-century culture, then Itty Bitty Inn is the straight-up bomb. Certified FRESH!

Everything was very nice and comfortable

We love this place! The innkeeper was very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed. And it was quiet! It is very convenient to the Coos Bay/North Bend area. We stayed in the 70s room and enjoyed the disco ball ambiance.

Extremely welcoming and well-conceived, this is a different sort of place to stay. The rooms are small, but they're some of the most efficient and cleverly done that we've ever seen. The owner-site manager is warm and friendly. The recommendations and extra touches are excellent. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone who might be considering staying in this region. However, for those who want the impersonal, sterilized, cookie cutter kind of experience ... no, definitely no.. Go to a chain of some sort.

This little place has little rooms decorated in different themes. We stayed in the Western room. The owner treats you like family....in a good way....he is a great concierge too. A word of caution, this is on a busy road and the log trucks start early. Earplugs and white noise machine are available. A must one or two night stay.
