Itty Bitty Inn

This lovely little roadside inn just became my all time favourite place that I’ve ever stayed in, no exaggeration, after 35 years of travel! My husband felt the same way. It is perfect in every way, having been lovingly restored and decorated by the incredibly kind and friendly owner, Rik and I believe, his daughter, and I’m guessing, many artistic friends from the area, just because he’s the kind of person you would want to help and be a part of, with his passion, this lovely inn. On a practicle level, it’s impeccably clean (I imagine his employees probably go above and beyond for such a wonderful human) and the rooms, as well as being unique and delightful, are very comfortable, with everything you need. I sat in bed the night we checked in, after sitting outside, drinking one of the fabulous beers that he offers (free) to his guests, and as I sat in bed, by the warm, cozy lamplight (no fluorescent lights here!) I felt utterly happy. What else can I say? If a motel can make you feel total joy, then you know you are staying somewhere very special indeed. We loved everything about this perfect gem of an inn. The room we stayed in (the Oregon Trail) room has been lovingly designed and decorated with attention to every detail and whimsy! And on top of that, the room is cozy and exudes warmth (but spacious enough) and incredibly comfortable. We loved it all, from the really comfortable bed (and beautiful bedding - loved the quilt!), but o the wonderful, warm lighting from the vintage lamps placed around the room (no fluorescent lighting here!) to the original tiles and porcelain in the bathroom. The room is equipped with everything you need or want for a great stay. The murals inside and out are fantastic, and everything about this little inn is welcoming and thoughtfully and playfully done, but the real gem is Rik, the owner. His passion for his lovely little inn, his town, and mostly of all, his guests (or angels as he sometimes calls us) is a rare and beautiful thing, and in these sometimes troubled times, is a very much welcomed and needed reminder that there truly are good people in the world! Staying here was a tonic and a joy and I loved how happy this perfect little inn made me feel.

I’m going to agree with all the five star reviews. What a wonderful stay at the Itty Bitty Inn. The reviews are spot on. Rik is a great guy. He treats you like a loving family member. He provided information on the North Bend area. Great recommendation for diner, with the insider advice to grab a spot in the bar area at Restaurant 0. He even called to make sure we could be seated on Saturday evening Memorial Day weekend. The North Bend chamber of commerce should give Rik an award. You can sense his love and passion for the area. Bottom line, The Itty Bitty Inn is a fun, clean, comfortable, quiet and unique place to stay. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

I love the Star Trek-themed room so much. It's got beautiful murals, awesome props and consoles that look like they came right out of the show, and super cool lighting that really adds to the atmosphere. Rik the Innkeeper is a super cool host and will make sure everything is perfect for you. the bed is comfy and the rooms are kept very clean. There's locally sourced coffee, tea, and soaps, and you can get 7 Devils brewing right off the tap. It's right on the 101 and right next to shops and restaurants. It's 420 friendly and he even has charging stations for those traveling in electric vehicles. He thinks of everything. :)

What a fun place to stay, sort of the 50s, 60s, and 70s all glommed together. The room design was interesting, too, with sort of a pass through window between the service ate of fridge, coffee stuff and microwave, and the bed. Reminiscent of route 66 motels I stayed in. That said, the room and facilities were meticulously clean, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable and cozy. I think the guy who checked us in is the owner, a real sweetheart. Very helpful and friendly. I'd love to stay again someday.

It's right next to a busy road. Although the motel rooms have possibly been retrofitted to dampen noise since we didn't get much.

The furniture and general decor was fantastic. The mural in the room and those outside the hotel were excellent. We were given a friendly welcome, including a taste of delicious beer. Would definitely come back.

Even before we arrived,we received a call just checking if we needed dinner recommendations and welcoming us "home." It is an adorable Itty bitty Inn, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. It is located right on 101.
