Double Room with En-suite

Nothing, absolutely terrible

Very dirty, cats everywhere, didn’t have bed sheets, nobody spoke English, still trying to get refund , would rather sleep on street

Absolutely worse experience we have had with an airbnb. We booked a 3 night stay to be close to our son at the University. We approached the residence and the front door was open with 3 cats going in and out of the front door and throughout the main kitchen area. The house was messy and dirty. A woman was sitting at the shared kitchen area who appears to be helping renters and claims to be in contact with the owner who she stated was in Bangladesh. The rental room was dismal at best, not Beautiful as described. There was no hot water for shower, no toilet paper. We had to stay the night since it was 11pm, but promptly left asap in the morning and booked into a hotel for the next 2 nights. When the owner was contacted by us with our concerns, he stated this stay was unacceptable and he would give us a full refund. He was contacted several times by booking.com and myself and has ghosted us. I don't want anyone else to have this experience!

The room was comfy and quiet and sufficed our needs.

The kitchen was a bit greasy from previous occupants and manky food left in fridge. Tumble drier lint filter was clogged up fully and I had to clean it out. Very dangerous and a potential fire hazard.

Wasn't sure which room was mine so had to call to find out. Numbers on the doors would be helpful. Shower in ensuite could do with a deep limescale clean

The bed is comfortable and clean.

I had no hot water, no heating, no towels and no toilet paper. Had to chase the owner for these items. Couldn’t shower before the event I was attending hence the booking in this place. Check in time was 3pm, I checked in at 5.30pm, even then the room was not ready. The bathroom is not clean. The place is worn off as the furniture and curtains in the room. Wouldn’t use the communal areas. The place needs cleaning and care. The description says Beautiful double room, far from that.
