What a unique and fun place to stay! It is always nice to stay somewhere a little bit different. We loved it and there was as everything you needed. We were blessed with lovely weather and it was great to sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning! Plenty of hot water for the bath (the shower is outside it we didn’t try it)

Maybe update some of the outside furniture? And don’t forget to bring a football (as we did) if your son is football mad! - as there is a large green space with a football goal. The beds in the living room are really only for kids. Ours were just about Ok - but adults would struggle sleeping there as the bunk beds are small

Unique place, very secluded and the outdoor shower was a real hit with us all. Great location, peaceful and the green area around was great for the lads to play footy and cricket. Would definitely recommend but more for two people unless you’ve got small children and then 4 would be fine. Very quirky and the Solo Stove was great after a BbQ watching the sun go down! A great last minute get away.

The only down side was the bed area in the living area as too small for our teenage lads. Groups benefit from a more comfortable sitting area inside, corner sofa which could turn into a double bed. A mirror in the bedroom would also be great addition.

The accommodation was brilliant, it was so nice and cosy. The amount that has squeezed into the space is awsome. The heating with the fire and the portable radiator is perfect. The amount of cooking utensils and accessories provided is above and beyond. The bath is lush, with lovely Faith by Nature products provided and finally the bedroom was lovely. Gemma was also super lovely and helpful answering all our questions

Location was excellent. The property and outside space was excellent. The outside shower was excellent.

The property was not clean. The cupboards in the kitchen had back dust in them. They had not been cleaned in a long time. The microwave was dirty. The property, although wood inside needed a good dust. There was fluff and cobwebs. The mattress was very uncomfortable. This really needs replacing. Luckily we brought our own BBQ as the one at the property had not been cleaned in a long time.

The carriage is pretty and is surrounded by a large, private plot. It's very quiet and close to the beaches. The outside shower was very handy for washing off sand post beach.

There was a water leak during our stay which effectively ruined the first 24 hours of our stay. From the incessant noise from flooding water, which stopped us sleeping, wet patches on the floor which needed towels to mop up, to worries about the leak being sorted and the inconvenience of not being able to use the carriage while plumbers worked on the leak... It wasn't ideal. We completely understand leaks can happen anywhere and the host's reps were friendly and did the best they could, although the owner was out the country, next day to respond to our message and their suggestions were confusing. After the leak, the carriage was left with a musty smell but beyond this, the carriage was grubby. There were stains on the bedspread and cushions, lumps of dust, hairballs and cobwebs around the base of the rooms and window frames. The BBQ was also filthy and we had to clean it before use (there is a charge for guests who don't clean it, apparently.) While the carriage sleeps 4, note that the fold out beds are very narrow, even for a child. If anyone sleeps in the kitchen / dining / living area on the pull out beds, note that not every window has a blind or curtain for privacy OR to block out light so people sleeping on these beds will be up very early.

It was so lovely really felt as if I was on a railway carriage. It was a birthday treat, the bunk bed were rather small for adults but we got by. Definitely only a two night stop at most. But would recommend

Really helpful property owner, beautiful and unique property, lovely bath! Quiet location, lovely area to sit outside and relax, BBQ available if needed.

Dog owners need to be mindful that the (lovely large) garden is not fenced in. My dog saw a rabbit and made a run for it, losing her off-lead privileges for the rest of the visit! Also, there is a shower but it is outside - not something that bothered me, but worth being aware of.

Location was great, the open space in the garden was brilliant. Loved the bath and the fact it had a hot towel rail to dry things (always handy after a beach day). It has plenty of outdoor seating which was great as we had family staying in the other carriages. Lovely little touches such as the sign on the door, mirror etc.

The beds weren't very comfy.
