MJ Venice Guest House

The house is lovely and spacious, I've really enjoyed my stay there. It is very well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The host was very nice and welcoming as well. I'd definitely recommend staying there if you're in the area.

The shared kitchen is pretty big. The design of the unit is nice

Check-in and check out process is very stressful. You must arrive between 3-8 pm. Otherwise, you will be charged an extra 15€ plus 10€ for each of our after 9 pm. I didn't receive a receipt for the city tax that asked to pay cash. The shower has signs of mold. The breakfast is a few crackers and jam. Negative attitude from the owner

Very comfortable bed, spacy beautifil room, quiet, very kind and nice hosts. I would come back for sure!

The room was comfortable. Everything was very clean, the Toilette was also very clean and had a lot of place.

The shower wasn't that good and the kitchen was not equipped as they sad that was.

There was nothing we disliked a lot. It looks like the guesthouse is still in need of some renovations to finish the furniture, fix the entrance door, paint some walls, improve the water pressure in the shower, etc. It looks like the hosts are renovating everything on their own and there are details which are not very professionally done, but everything serves its function. The location is 20 minutes walking from the train station, and 2 stop away from Venice.

I liked everything

Everything is clean, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. There is a bus stop nearby (10 minutes walk) from where the minibus goes to Venice. Also, I want to add a few words about being here with pets, it is allowed but for extra money(one payment of 35 euros), staff provides bowls for food and water, pet brush and bags for cleaning after your pet while walking(what is cool, but the price).

The lack of air conditioning is simply terrible for this region, it is really hot(the conditioning was not provided in the services list, I just want to mention the problem we faced and did not expect), using the parking lot is very problematic, every time you have to ask to open the gate(sometimes staff opens it quickly, but sometimes it can take hours so you have to notify them in advance) or park on the street
