IEThe location was breathtaking, we were surrounded by so much Natural Beauty, everyone was so friendly. We were very close to Slieve Liag and lots of local attractions. We had a gorgeous meal in The Rusty Mackerel😋
USThe view was spectacular. It was ideally located for a trip to sleive league. We were delighted to meet the owner, michelle, who gave us the history of the house as it had been a tearoom. The heat worked well and the water was hot. We appreciated the smart TV so we could watch a movie together.
We were happy to have a washer but there is no dryer. However we were able to use the airer and radiators to dry things perfectly.
GBKate’s cottage is in a perfect location with the most welcoming host Michelle and beautiful views. Michelle has a wealth of local knowledge of the area. The cottage has everything you need for a short or extended stay. Very relaxing and will most definitely stay again . Thank you Michelle.
IEUSGorgeous view outside and wonderfully relaxing- I spent every morning sitting in front and enjoying my coffee. Great location from which to branch out and explore the towns and landmarks. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Everyone we met in Kilcar was incredibly friendly. I would've loved to stay longer!

USThe home was so cozy with beautiful views. The village of Kilcar is small and super cute. There is a great grocery store, 2 pubs and a coffee shop. Beautiful walk to the village. 15 minutes to Slieve League and 15 minutes to Killybegs. 25 minutes to Town of Donegal.

DEVery lovely people, we arrived about an hour too early, they were trying hard to get us in as soon as possible. The view from every window was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire place a lot. The house and the rooms are much bigger than on the pictures. We had lots of fun with the local people on new year swimming in the sea! Restaurants and pubs in the area were fab!
