Very clean, comfortable and safe.

The description on booking.com said river view and there was no view.

Great big kitchen, lovely rooms, good service.

I liked the patio and braai area.

1. I thought I was booking the room that was in the picture only to find it was a different place. I do understand it is a group of lodges but I wish I knew exactly which one. 2. There is no door leading to the toilet/bathroom from the bedroom. You do not have any privacy when using the bathroom.

The staff is amazing, they were able to accommodate us at short notice after I messed up the booking dates and was one day early. The house is amazing, with a well equipped kitchen, all en-suite bedrooms and a covered braai area.

Improve on lighting the braai area

Lovely hosts who live across the road and who are always available to swiftly attend to any problems with the house and who are able to provide good advice about activities etc. in the area. The newly installed plunge pool is very welcome during the summer months and there is a large, sheltered braai area outside, which we made good use of. The location being close to the Ferry (across the Kei River) and walking distance to the Spar (the only grocery store for miles) and a petrol station that stocks ice and water was really helpful! There is a laundry that is also walking distance from the house.

The fixtures and fittings in the house are quite old (although this did not bother us too much), the shower door in the one bathroom didn't close properly and some of the beds were somewhat old and a little uncomfortable. But, still perfectly fine for a relaxed beach holiday.
