TJ Guest House

The guest house has a nice balcony equipped with sets of small tables and chairs. There is also enough space to hang up your laundry/towels/swimming clothes. The room with 2 beds was small, but comfortable with a well working AC unit. We had a separate bathroom to ourselves, which was nice and clean. The kitchen is shared with the other visitors and equipped with kitchen essentials and a big fridge.

Extremely cheap for a pretty comfortable stay with only minor drawbacks. The location is not too close to the beach but the road is nice and scenic. The air conditioner worked perfectly which was our top concern.

Minor problems: (1) we had to wait for about half an hour to be checked in, (2) the water pressure in the faucets and the shower wasn't always great, sometimes in the afternoon it was almost a trickle. Besides that, external (but private) bathroom and shared kitchen and refrigerators were what we paid for, so no complaints here, but there were a lot of people using the kitchen so it was somewhat inconvenient. Also, as always, it's really hard to keep your towels and clothes dry in Batumi in August. The guest house does have an open balcony with driers but even with the sunny weather it wasn't always enough.

Most wonderful family and beautiful location. Must visit to preserve that local homeowners can house guests rather than huge hotels that are much overpriced and dangerous in cases of natural disasters. This hostel was beautiful with a garden and outdoor kitchen. The price was wonderful.

Construction 🚧🏗️ The area has failing infrastructure and they are continuing to build new hotels. It disrupts the ground and the environment. I met a guy from Azerbaijani and he showed me a video that produces the desire to travel off buildings that look like art, are BIG, and $$$ high end.

It was very comfortable, amazing view from the balcony, the owners are very lovely it’s a great value for money.

When I arrived after a long day of travelling I was upgraded to a better room than initially booked. A beautiful 2 bed room with bathroom and balcony. The room also has a fridge. It was a super nice surprise and gift after a long day. The owners are very helpful and speak English very well. You can ask them anything. They give good recommendations and information. The rain shower is amazing after a day out. The rooms are hotel standard. And if you come in the right season you might be lucky to taste fresh fruits from their garden, so delicious!

It's located outside Batumi but that is what I wanted. It is peaceful and quiet and still only a few minutes away from all the important places. Very easy to catch the local minibus nr 40 to get around.

Great guesthouse! I was happy to return here after 2 years. Such a nostalgia!) Thank you Jamlet for your hospitality! As before I was offered the other room, better than booked, with the bearskin on the wall! The cozy cafe "Veranda" at the seafront was under reconstruction that time but there was another one in a ~0,5 km to the left.
