Villa Sunny Side with private pool

The villa unfortunately did not fully meet our expectations. The surrounding area is quite underdeveloped, and access can be challenging. There is only one proper road leading to the house, which is very narrow with rice fields and water on both sides. The alternative route into Ubud is essentially a dirt path with sand and mud, very steep and not suitable for regular cars — our driver even had difficulties managing it safely. We stayed for 2 nights and arrived late in the evening. On arrival, all windows had been left open with lights on in the bedroom and living room, which unfortunately attracted a lot of insects inside. Some facilities also need more care and maintenance. The outdoor furniture had visible mold (see attached photo), and the outdoor shower was difficult to use due to the number of insects. The safe is quite small, not large enough for a laptop, and several of the windows could not be closed properly, which made us hesitant to leave valuables inside. While the villa has potential and the location in the rice fields could be beautiful, these issues affected our overall experience. With some improvements in maintenance and better communication about the access roads, future guests could have a more comfortable stay.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.Die Villa entspricht exakt den Bilder, war schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Villa war in einer ruhigen Lage und umgeben von Wald/Pflanzen. Ubud Zentrum war nur wenige Kilometer mit dem Auto entfernt. Jedoch je nach Verkehrt kann die Fahrt länger dauern. Die Gastgeberin Sintya war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich unsere Wünschen nach zu kommen. Der Kontakt auf Whatsapp war sehr einfach und sie antwortet schnell. Wenn mann möchte können " Spa" Angebote in die Villa bestellt werden. Sintya organisierte uns einen Fahrer ( Wayan), welcher uns jeden Tag an unsere Ausflüge brachte und zu einem gutem Preis. Agus kam auf Nachfrage jeweils vorbei um Frühstück zu kochen, es gab eine Auswahl aus drei Menüs. Das Frühstück war frisch gekocht, schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Als wir Probleme hatten mit dem Gas, kam Agus gleich vorbei und behob das Problem.Wir fühlten uns sehr gut bei der Gastgeberin und ihrem Team aufgehoben. Würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Im hintersten Zimmer war das WLAN nicht immer gut verbunden. Da wir alle mobile Daten hatten, war das kein Problem. Im Rest der Villa funktionierte das WLAN sehr gut.

Villa Sunnyside looked just like the pictures. It was modern, spacious, gorgeous and clean. We really enjoyed the outside bath, the sound system that easily connected to Spotify, the living area, and chilling by the pool. Spoilt for choice in seating areas. The floating breakfast was devine and the staff were great.

The villa was peaceful and quiet, but a long way from anywhere. The tvs in the bedrooms didn't work well, as the wifi was not strong. Beds weren't very comfy either. Netflix continually cut out every 5-10 mins, which was annoying at nighttime. We lost half the power for quite a while one night, which we ended up fixing ourselves. The pool was lovely, but was freezing cold. We didn't actually use it, as much as we love a pool.

The location was amazing! You are in a little village-which is quiet but yet you are 5 minutes to the Main Street with shopping and 15 minutes to the area of town with all the restaurants.

Amazing property with great pool and the setup .. surrounded by river and fields .. absolutely magnificent . The host Sintya was very reactive to all questions and helped organise everything from taxi to tours to pickups. The property is 10min by drive from absolutely city pandemonium .. this is what we were looking at - peaceful and surrounded by greenery.
