Agat Yurt Camp

Everything was good. Breakfast is also great. We had a great sleep here.

The yurt was very nice, comfortable, and clean and the staff is really nice!

Overall, I had a good experience, but there are a few things worth mentioning. The food is a bit more expensive than in the town center, which is only a 4-minute drive away. I didn’t like that the yurts are not located right next to the lagoon. However, the property has its own private beach area, which can be accessed through a tunnel that passes underneath the road. The beach is very beautiful, but there are many ants, making it difficult to spend the whole day there comfortably. There is another beach just a 4-minute drive away that I found better equipped. You can rent umbrellas there, there are restaurants nearby, and there are no issues with ants. Another detail is that the showers are separate from the toilets, which some guests may find a bit inconvenient.

The yurt was well made and place was so beautiful. The mountains are behind and the lake at front, can’t ask more than this. The place is well equipped too, clean bathroom and toilets, free teas and coffee, microwave, fridge etc. Oleg was very helpful host, he is so informative and kind I really am so grateful for him. We had a dinner and breakfast there too and it was great 😊 Plus - the cats are so cute and friendly. We had a lot of cuddles in the evening, as I a cat lover, it was a perfect company for the stay x It’s nothing wrong at all but just to mention for fellow travellers, it has a bar but not selling alcohol or something like it. Oleg helped us get some so it was totally fine for us at the end, but if anyone expects to buy there, bring some yourself is probably the best.

Очень колоритные юрты с видом на горы! До озера несколько минут пешком. Внутри было тепло и чисто, территория красивая, а завтрак самый вкусный за все наше путешествие! Большое спасибо, мы бы вернулись снова

This place turned out to be a surprisingly wonderful camp stay right beside Issyk-Kul Lake. The location is excellent—just a short underpass walk takes you straight to the lakeside, making access incredibly convenient and scenic. The property itself is an old Soviet-era building, which adds a unique, rustic character to the experience. While it’s not modern or luxurious, it has a certain charm and authenticity that fits the surroundings well. The host was well-behaved, friendly, and spoke good English, which made communication easy and comfortable throughout the stay. Food was another highlight—fresh, tasty, and satisfying, giving a real homely feel. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience, especially because of the lakeside location, warm hospitality, and unique setting.
