"Gorgeous property and lovely little garden."

Even more beautiful than the photos make it look. Has everything you’d need for your stay. Stammatina was a wonderful host and helped us arrange transport and trips round the island. Messaria is very traditional and has some lovely little restaurants, perfect relaxing break.

"Excellent stay made more comfortable with superb hosts"

Excellent cave home property with TV, Air con/heating, washing machine, fans, induction hub, crockery, cutlery, books, comfy beds. The welcome and farewell from the hostess - Stamatina was the cherry on the cake. The cats made the stay very memorable. The walk in the quaint village with small churches, the good morning from the smiling yaiya and papou made this stay lovely. This beautiful place is tucked away from the traffic with a short walk to a lovely Greek restaurant - Postalia tou Aigaiou that serves classic Cretan dish - Feta cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry dripping with honey. It is a short walking distance from the Mesaria Bus stand and longish walk to the Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum. A long story in short - superlative stay managed by professional couple. Coming back to stay there, again!

The host came to meet us and greeted us. She gave a lot of information about the local attractions and restaurants given we were there during off-season. That list was very helpful to navigate the island.

The hotel is very quiet. The room is very spacious, with two bathrooms, three bedrooms, good shower facilities, and basic daily toiletries. The host enthusiastically introduced us to the surrounding facilities and made the guests feel at home. It will be a good hotel and I will choose to stay there next time. Conditions are very good in all aspects
