De locatie is redelijk goed in een mooi stukje kust van Italië. De omgeving is prachtig bergachtig en je bent met de auto snel beneden bij het strand. Er rijdt ook een (gratis) bus die je kunt nemen. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar de halte. Het voetpad naar beneden lijkt handig te zijn, maar je komt uit bij een industriele haven en moet alsnog een bus nemen om bij de dorpen te komen. In het dorp zelf is niet veel te beleven dus je zult op pad moeten. Er zit wel en fantastisch goed restaurant om de hoek, maar ook daar moet je met de auto naartoe.

Het appartement zelf heeft de beste tijd gehad. Alles is verouderd, hoewel er wel een moderne airco hangt. Wij hadden problemen met de warmwatervoorziening. De stoppen sloegen steeds door als de boiler aanstond. We hebben die maar uitgezet want een werkende airco en koelkast hadden de prioriteit en hartje zomer was koud douchen sowieso lekkerder. Verder was het bed niet al te best en was alles een beetje smoezelig. De ruimte heeft wel een prima formaat. Er zit zelfs een keuken in en er is voldoende keukengerei om zelf te koken (als je dat zou willen).

Location was good once we negotiated the very narrow, windy, steep climb to the village. Thank goodness there was a free and paid for bus service a ten minute walk away! Village had reasonable facilities but bar etc closes early. Apartment had a fridge, cooking facilites and shared washing machine.

Location was tricky to find as it is not actually on the road but accessed via steps up and alleyway. This should be clearer in the instrcutions. Parking was tricky. Only the upstairs apartment had a parking space on site and we had to park on the road. We were lucky to get a place opposite the apartment but did not dare move our car for 4 days. We saw other people have to park quite a distance away and parking is not plentiful - streets are quite narrow too. The apartment itself did have the facilities mentioned but is old and tired. Outdoors seating was a tiny balcony and inside we only had the bed or the chairs at the kitchen table. Communication was a challenge as our host did not speak english - but she tried to be helpful and Mr Google came to our aid. Facilities - ensuite sliding door did not close properly - needs adjusting.

Rita is a fantastic host! She is warm, communicative, and very helpful. She met us within minutes in front of the house to give us the keys and show us the apartment. Rita told us about all the visits we could do around her property, how to get to the beach, about street parking, where the shop was, the local restaurants. The apartment was very well equipped to cook, have breakfast... Rita even left some local brioche-style pastries for us to taste! She is very artistic, and has made many of the pieces of decoration in the apartment. The roads are small up to the village, but it is very quaint. The local pizzeria is very good and the staff very helpful.

The local shop only offers the very basic things.

Very nice little village. The house is very pretty. The host is very nice and helpful. Good value for money, recommended.

Beautiful location up in the mountains!!!! A bit difficult in evening with transport. Very friendly hostess. Would love to come back!
