Spacious Second Empire Suite at the Platt Mansion

I loved the historic facility and the space. This property would actually have accommodated 5 or 6 people! So great for a family with kids (with the cot in the closet). We were only three, but we appreciated the separate rooms for each of us! The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean and inviting.

Parking was a bit annoying because it is a college neighborhood and the street parking times vary. I would have liked some small milks to go with the coffee and tea set up. We used the pull out bed I the dining room but we didn’t find sheets - only the duvet and pillows. And we could have used an extra towel. It would be great to install curtains or pull down blinds in the main front window for privacy. We used the portable screen, but it was awkward. And I wish there was a good coffee shop in walking distance, but that isn’t your fault. :-) Maybe add a few more extra herbal teas to the collection.

Beautiful, spacious historic property with lots of character and amazing and inviting interior design. The beds and sofa are very comfortable and perfect for a family.

This apartment was gorgeous. My daughters and I stayed here for a girl’s trip traveling to a Taylor Swift concert in Toronto and we fell in love with this place. The owner was very responsive to all concerns and was very helpful during our stay. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and this place was spotless. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Buffalo. 10/10 all day.

The only complaint I had was the driveway. I almost became stuck due to the narrowness and distance between the curb and the house. There was not enough room to drive up and turn around in an SUV. Just make sure you park on the street. We are from KY, so this street parking and houses being so close to each other is new.

Beautiful old home.

Cold. The thermostat indicated not to touch, but the landlord did permit us to turn on the heat when we asked.
