B&B Torricella

Beautiful house in the middle of the countryside, 30 minutes from Bologna. The room and the bathroom were super clean, breakfast was nice, fresh and tasty and the owners are super nice people, very friendly: l definitely recommend staying at B&B Torricella :)

What an absolute joy to share someone's home - we felt part of the family immediately!! Marinella and Luca were hosts extraordinaire!! We enjoyed long chats with them both which enhanced an excellent stay. The location of the property is on the edge of San Giorgio di Piano in a beautiful rural location outside Bologna which is a 1/2 hour drive away; there is undercover parking, a beautiful garden and an outdoor pool (It was November, so we didn't use it!!). The house itself is superbly laid out with an open plan area downstairs where we took excellent breakfasts. The bedroom was large with a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden - the window was shuttered at night. The bathroom had great facilities and a superb shower; the bed was large and extremely comfortable. We had a hire car so could come and go as we pleased, visiting Ferrara and Bologna and, closer to the B&B, great eating places recommended by our hosts - the highlight was the Dolce e Salato in St Pedro di Casale. San Giorgio di Piano also has a railway station with excellent links to the city.

very nice hosts and a great swimming pool

Very friendly and helpful couple. The natural pool was very nice and in general the atmosphere of this place was very pleasant and caml, which was exactly what we were looking for on our 1 afternoon + 1/2 night stay on a long road-trip.

We had trouble finding the location.

Hosts were wonderful.

Breakfast was repetitive for so many days stay. Pool was not as clean as we hoped.
