Very spacious and everything we needed

I had a phone connectivity problem so needed help to get in and had speedy support!

Perfect location and very spacious lodge. Great value considering the location and time of year. The rooms were large and the deck area was fantastic, including a gas barbecue provided for guests.

Some small areas that could do with a spring clean, windows and some corners need attention but generally clean and tidy.

Location Cosy accommodation

Unfortunately it really wasn't clean enough for us. Crumbs on floor and kitchen table, crumbs in cutlery drawer. Crockery and cutlery not clean. Shower not clean. We hoovered and cleaned the kitchen, emptied and cleaned cutlery drawer. Washed Crockery and cutlery before we unpacked. We didn't know there weren't any towels so didn't bother cleaning the Showers as we didn't use them. I drew a line at removing a dorito and melted marshmallow from under the radiator so just left them. Lovely accommodation once we'd cleaned it though, enjoyed our stay.

The main bathroom toilet did not flush properly and the door catch did not engage so had to be wedge shut wit a toilet bag The shower in the ensuite was too hot, could not be adjusted and therefore not used. Thses are all minor issues that can easily be resolved.

Lovely quiet setting. Clean and tidy.

Towels to be provided. Settee and chairs past their best.
