Gorgeous villa, modern and spacious. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay, even down to the smallest of conveniences such as baskets in each bedroom containing a hairdryer, straighteners, curlers, talc etc. Nicely decorated with modern lighting and decor. Has a fully equipped kitchen, every kind of utensil and gadget imaginable. There was tea/coffee available and soft drinks left for us in the fridge. The living area has a huge comfy sofa, there were 7 of us (5 ad and 2 ch) and it seated us all comfortably. There are smart TVs in each room where you are able to use Netflix/Prime Video, perfect for the kids. The bedrooms are nice and big, 2 have en suites and double sofa beds. The outside area is large and modern. There are several spots to sit/lounge and the pool is a good size. The pool is not heated and was very cold when we stayed in April, did not bother the kids at all. There is a great sized table for al fresco dining and a lovely bbq although, we didn’t use it unfortunately as the evenings were a little too cold. The villa is in walking distance to the resort of Alykes and a little further down the road is Alykanas. It’s close enough if you want it, but far enough away if you don’t. There are several bars/snack bars dotted around the area too. One thing to note is that the resorts do not open until around the end of May, there were only a few bars/restaurants open during our stay at the beginning of April. If you stay out of season, I would suggest hiring a car. Zakynthos town was around a 25 minute drive away where everything is open. The owners of the villa are lovely and extremely helpful, they also own a nearby restaurant (the food was amazing, one of my favourite places to eat actually) and operate a tour/excursion business so you really have everything covered!

I would have enjoyed the pool had it been heated but that’s just me!

Edges of the pool steps were sharp so lots of grazed and bumped legs for the children! Be careful!
