"Wonderful time in Walvis Bay"

Quiet and safe place close to lagoon, restaurants and harbour, which is also the starting point for breathtaking tours into the dunes or the sea. The hosts are amazing and so friendly people! Offered me to do my laundry, which I personally highly appreciate. Thanks for everything!

Full self-catering apartment walking distance to the lagoon. Safe, quiet and private. Friendly helpful host - all my needs were met with a smile. Laundry was included. Will definitely recommend.

Great place with lovely hosts. Perfect location a few minutes to walk to the lagoon but still close enough so you can walk to the supermarkets. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Lovely hosts who go above and beyond to help and make your stay as smooth as possible! Thanks a lot Esmé :-)

"Six wonderful nights of heavenly peace and quiet at Desert Pearl"

Esmé and Brandon were the perfect hosts. Esmé was always the friendliest and extremely helpful. It was always a pleasure to speak to her about Walvis Bay, the surroundings, restaurants, et cetera. The flat was, as stated, perfectly clean and up-to-date, and in a very safe and quiet neighbourhood near the beachfront. My daughter and myself did not need to rent an automobile as the long- and short walks would get us everywhere. The television has Netflix, and so many more options. Our 6-night stay was wonderful. We took cabs to Swakopmund, and one time we took the local Taxi that took us through the Walvis Bay townships. That was extremely safe and informative. I would highly recommend staying at Desert Pearl Self-Catering. I will stay there on my next trip/holiday to Namibia. The regular price of ZAR/$ND is 300 from the airport to Desert Pearl. Walvis Bay and Swakopmund are two beautiful cities and very safe as being women on our own. The Namibians are a most helpful and welcoming people. We enjoyed our stay immensely at Desert Pearl Self-Catering.

I liked that I had my own privacy, no noise pollution and it is close to the lagoon. The bedroom was phenomenal. Everyone is super friendly, made me feel at home.
