GBLocation was remote but lovely views. Sheep and farm animals nearby. Very clean and more or less everything you needed. Only thing to feedback would possibly be a fan needed in hot weather due to reluctance to open windows during midgy season. Nice to chat to Rachel and husband on arrival.
GBWe had 2 nights stay here in May. What a wonderful accommodation, welcoming and warm and the view well, just amazing. The cabin is well set, surrounded by trees and every window facing forward and to the left had a view. Particularly pleasing and amusing in May as the spring lambs were in the fields and road. A firm favourite was the bird feeders as they were constantly busy. This was an amazing experience for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin it had a calming effect, so easy to lose time in comfort and well think of nothing! Our host was exceptional, they kept us well informed and ensure we felt welcomed. The suggestions in the hand book of places to visit were very useful. The site had free roaming chickens so be mindful of when you come in and leave, especially if you want eggs for breakfast! The kitchen is well equipped, the decor very tasteful, more than enough space for us two. Would I recommend staying here, Yes and YES! If we ever come up this far up again I think would definitely book for longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
