Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war freundlich, und die Idee mit der Parkkarte für die kostenpflichtigen Plätze ist nett gemeint – das ist ein Pluspunkt. Leider reicht das aber nicht aus, um die insgesamt negative Erfahrung auszugleichen.

Die Wohnung liegt an einer extrem lauten Straße. Besonders nachts ist es kaum auszuhalten: laute Mofas fahren ständig hin und her, und auch lautes Gerede draußen ist bis tief in die Nacht zu hören. Da die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss liegt und der Eingang direkt in die Küche führt, kann man die Fenster kaum offen lassen. Die Jalousien müssen stets geschlossen bleiben – was die ohnehin wenig gemütliche Atmosphäre noch verstärkt. Die Beleuchtung besteht nur aus sehr hellen Deckenlampen, was eher an ein Büro als an eine Ferienwohnung erinnert. Zudem hatten wir mit kleinen Ameisen auf dem Boden und Fruchtfliegen in der Küche zu kämpfen. Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich überbewertet und ist – gemessen an Preis und Lage – aus meiner Sicht überteuert. Wer Ruhe und Komfort sucht, sollte sich lieber nach einer Alternative umsehen.

First floor apartment, recently renovated, well equipped, good Wifi, quite neighbourhood, close to everywhere. Best of all the parking pass, allows parking everywhere in Verbania municipality.

Nowhere to charge your cell phone near bedside. Your best bet is use the micro wave owen socket. (Suggest you bring a 3m extension cable). Little toilet paper, no soap no shampoo. (We still keep the 10 Rating). Avoid the overprized restaurants on the main Piazza Castello. There is a inexpensive restaurant / pizzeria on the Piazza Don Minzoni near the apartment.

We really enjoyed this stay. The apartment was very clean and all the furniture and appliances were new. The bed was big and comfy. The location was also very good, central in Intra. All in all, a great value for money and we would definitely recommend this place!

Great location in heart of Intra, close to shops, restaurants & ferry. Lovely spacious and newly renovated ground floor apartment. Washing machine was very handy. Very friendly welcome from Nadia & Fabio. Nadia provided great restaurant recommendations. We found a lovely cafe on next corner to left called Bar Bisa.

No air conditioning. They did provide a fan.
