Mountain View - The Little Gem

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotless everything was—the cleanliness was truly exceptional! Sue has clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy touches throughout the space. The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. We also really appreciated the tasteful decor, which made the cottage feel both stylish and welcoming. A real gem—we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely little place with a lovely braai place and garden. Well equipped with everything and more. Nice place for a couple . Nice and quiet.

Cupboard is just a little awkward in space to store bags. And the bins are a bit confusing with what to throw in were. Plastic and glass ✔️ but "food waste"? Is it only food scrubs or is it other waste?

The little gem is a lovely place. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen offers everything you need for cooking. Sue is an incredibly helpful host with a lot of ideas and recommendations. Will definitely come back! 😀

The Little Gem lives up to its name. Wonderful little cottage for two which has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Lovely safe neighbourhood.

Has all the amenities, including a bialetti coffee perculator. Very nice covered outdoor braai area. Lovely peaceful and comfortable place to stay and enjoy Montagu

Nothing to dislike

We had the most memorable stay at The Little Gem for my husband's birthday. The VIEWS! The delicious welcome platter, and all the little extras which all added up to a BIG welcome. The love and attention to detail put into this home-away-from-home was so appreciated. We had the most wonderful stay. A few nights felt far longer! We will be back.
