Sunny rooms at Danube

There were bed bugs! Don’t stay here if you wanna sleep with bedbugs and get bitten all over. I told the owner to fix it, by either cleaning the room, changing me into another room or giving me a partial reimbursement. He ended just ghosting me; he obviously doesn’t know how to run his own business. I had to book another place in order to get a proper service and a good night’s sleep. Don’t stay here even if it’s cheaper than other places; it’s not worth the trouble and headache.

It is not the whole place, just a room with a bathroom outside, the room was very small.

The bathroom is infested with ants. Very irresponsible host! I messaged them asking for a partial refund because there really were a lot pf ants in the bathroom, the host told me they were going to arrange it but they never did. I messaged them again in regards to that and they just left me on read.

Well, it's better than a hostel - at least there's some privacy for reasonable amount of money. Location is excellent and owner has always been in touch and ready to answer my questions. I had some linen and towels, restroom was clean, hot water was hot and wifi was fast. So leaving high expectations aside - it's a very budget stay with minimum acceptable level of comfort.

Soundproof is poor, you hear your neighbours very well. Still better than a hostel though. One of towels didn't smell fresh, it was rather smelly. Shower was leaking and there were thirsty ants all around the bathroom desperately looking for some liquid.

I needed a quite place to work from and I got exactly that. Considering the price, I couldn't get anything significantly better I guess. Very spacious, realtively clean, quiet. Internet connection was working fine.

You need to go through a shared kitchen to reach the toilet (there is one more room in the accommodation). However bathroom was part of my room.

The sofa for 2 people is completely uncomfortable without a bed, you need to ask for it. It is too noisy if there is somebody else in the other room aside
