GBReally nice spacious room which was clean and comfortable.
Our kitchen swan neck tap was hanging off. Location outside attracts homeless people sadly and upon arrival many were fighting- not the accommodations fault but not nice to witness. Upon arrival access wasnโt the easiest. 3 bags of rubbish left at our door overnight which still wasnโt removed when checking out at 10am. Seems like only one person is available and no one about when checking out to discuss issues. You have to do all of the running around to get any service.
CZThe location was great and the interior design looked really nice. Also, the room was supposed to be really big and spacious.
We knew we would arrive late to Glasgow and so looked for a place with 24/7 reception. Booking.com showed this property and their check-in information only said that it is from 15:00. The price was really good so we booked. AFTER we booked, we got an email saying that because of our late check-in, we need to send pictures of our IDs via WhatsApp. That immediately alarmed us, since you can sign-up for a paid subscription or make bookings with ID pictures. Hence, we thought of this as a scam. Another red flag was the ยฃ 100 security deposit. Imagine you have ยฃ 100 in your pocket, see a room for such price and so book it. And then you learn you need to pay ANOTHER ยฃ 100, just in case. This will be returned to you, but only after 28 days (no idea why it should take this long). That's like coming to a restaurant, checking the menu and deciding you'd like the pasta for ยฃ 15. But first you have to pay ยฃ 100, just in case. We later learned that this is, in fact, written in the fine print. How is this legal however, is still beyond me, I've never encountered such practice before. We stayed at another two hotels in Glasgow, none of them doing this. Never mind that they took the security deposit from my bank account even without us ever checking-in! We decided not to stay at a place that uses such tricks to get sensitive information and more money from customers. Also disappointed with Booking.com for allowing such property on their site. This is not an accommodation service but your usual room rental with terrible landlord and you getting the worst treatment. There is plenty of great places to stay in Glasgow, so I suggest to avoid this one if you value your personal information and don't have extra ยฃ 100 to lend these people for a month.

GBThe property is well fitted out with suitable kitchen and bathroom fittings
The property is on St Enoch Square which is regularly a meeting place for a large group of youths, many of whom were under the influence of drink or drugs, resulting in a very intimidating atmosphere, not conducive to feeling safe on approaching the property. Having to input a 7 character code when you really just want to run inside is not helpful. The front door is electronically opened, however it does not seem particularly secure with only one of the contact points working during our stay. This resulted in the door being insecure below the topmost connector, which could easily have been forced by a few of the assembled horde. Inside our apartment the security latch was missing, leaving only the original lock affording us any security. Once inside the property, the intimidating youths made it unwise to venture out. We witnessed several violent altercations from our front facing windows. Our bed measured 48 inches across, certainly well below what we had expected from the advertised extra large bed. On contacting the customer service number we were told nothing could be done to help us as the reception staff finished at 6pm, probably to allow them to leave before the horde turned up. So if you can picture the scene, we are stuck in a room with little security either from the room door or the front door, with close to 200 aggressive, drunk or drugged youths outside, with a tiny bed. We are pensioners in our late 60s, originally from Glasgow, but unable to get any support or assistance from the management team. Would definitely recommend that you spend a little more and avoid this property like the plague! Donโt be fooled by how it looks, itโs dangerous and poorly run. Iโve apologised to my wife for taking her there! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
GBIt was clean
It didn't feel safe for a solo traveller
