El Lobo Hostel

The host was super nice. Shasha is accommodating with my tours and other bookings. The bed I slept in and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I love their family as we had dinners and meaningful conversations. Other than that, El Lobo and Banwa are just outside the hostel so partying is accessible if you’re into thrill and just a good time. El Lobo is the best.

The family is amazing, beds are big, with curtains and AC just during the night it’s perfect

Small bathroom for everyone, and noisy because of the bar but it ends at midnight

The staff were friendly and helpful to arrange transfers There’s free filtered water and coffee as well! It was nice and clean and the beds were pretty comfy

It’s right next to a club so there’s is loud music until 12/1am every night The aircon turns off at 10am and doesn’t come back on until 7pm, the rooms get pretty hot if you’re there during the day!

One of the dirtiest hostels I have been to. They have dogs that I several times saw poop and pee on the planks in the kitchen and common area, where people walk barefoot (and makes the whole place smell really bad). The dogs also barked just outside the dorm window all the time and this was going on until past 1 am and the staff did nothing. Also saw a lot of rats running around in the kitchen. The toilets were constantly clogged and unclean. I never really had a problem with cleanliness before but this hostel was too much for me and I just wanted to leave. The facilities otherwise are good and the location is good.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The toilets and the showers were sooo dirty and were NEVER cleaned! The toilets were clogged during our whole visit, 3 nights, and everything in the toilet was just floating… It was horrendous!!! We told the staff several times and they just told us to put more water in the toilet, which made it worse and then it was just totally over full! It was also rats everywhere! And the dogs inside peed and pooped everywhere which made it smell really bad… The curtains to the beds didn’t work either!

Affordable accommodation in a perfect location in GL. Staff are so kind and welcoming The dogs Vader and Chewwy (the golden puppy! are the stars 😄

The toilets were not flushing good and there is a bad dog pee smell in front of the main entrance.

We had the best time there, it was amazing. The owners were so welcoming and helped us with everything. They made us all feel like family.

This place is so welcoming ! Dorms are quiet, the common area is so peaceful with the two dogs, Chewy and Vader :) For those who want there’s always a bar with music every night but it does not interfere with the sleeping side of the hostel. Also the mother of the owner was so sweet and helpful. Would recommend 10000%
