the view, close to the city center (by car), mostly quiet apartment, small elevator available

Unfortunately the check-in was 3 hours late. The person who gave us the key did not speak english or french (only italian), so it was difficult to communicate with her. She did make a weird comment about our origins, which we found weird and insulting, but again, it could be a miscommunication. Although we had to pay the tourist tax in cash to her, she did not have change to give us. So make sure you have the exact amount. When we arrived inside the apartment, she started to fold the sheets and towels that were hanged outside, this could have been done prior to our arrival. In 4 days, we were never able to park in one of the parking spots available for the apartment. We parked in the street just outside the building (probably illegal and very narrow street, but we were lucky enough not to get a ticket). Make sure you read the booklet of instructions upon arrival, otherwise you won't have hot water for your shower, we learned that the hard way. The bed is not a double bed, it was two single beds put together, which we found disappointing. Some of the things in the apartment were not clean (at least to our standards), ex: the couch, the shower. The sheets and towels had a weird smell too... Otherwise, the view is great, the apartment is of a good size and everything else was working fine mostly.

"It was ok, but overall not excellent."

The view to the bay is excellent, the location is also not bad. There was a parking spot available all the time, but we stayed in the apartment in March, so I am not sure if it would be the same in the summer. The apartment was clean and well arranged.

If one switches on all air conditioners, the breakers would switch off. So, one must carefully manage the use of electricity. We had to wait for two hours to obtain the keys. The owner explained that it was due to the Milan-Sanremo bike race, but this should have been taken into account earlier, and we should have been duly informed.
