The Jam Hostel Luang Prabang

Good location, close to the center of Luang Prabang. The photos match reality, with a well-maintained swimming pool. Cleanliness is okay, even though it could be better, especially in the rooms, but it’s still acceptable. Nice common area to chill, have a drink, grab some food, and chat with other travelers.

The activities and taxis offered at the reception are a bit overpriced compared to what you can find elsewhere. I stayed for three days and, in general, the hostel is quite noisy (both in the dorms and outdoor areas). It’s not the hostel’s fault, but it’s good to know in advance.

Location is ideal and beds are very comfortable

Nice balcony to sit on outside the dorm and cafe/bar area. Good location.

Drains from the showers in the room were not good, water almost up to ankles when you shower. Generally could be cleaner.

The common spaces are really nice.

The staff. The management is quite bad when there is an issue.
